“I look forward to interviewing potential associates and to training new associates and management on Walmart’s recent innovations and programs,” said store manager Randy Harmon. Harmon has been with the company for the past 15 years, beginning his career with Walmart in New Mexico, and has more than 30 years of grocery and retail management experience.

“The best part of working at Walmart is being able to see individuals grow into positions that will allow them to better themselves and their families,” said Harmon.

Walmart provides a benefits program to eligible full- and part-time associates. The company provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits, including health care coverage with no lifetime maximum. Walmart also offers eligible associates matching 401(k) contributions of up to 6 percent, discounts on general merchandise, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive based on store performance.

The majority of new associates will begin work in December to help prepare the store for its grand opening.
