Cops investigate GG ‘execution’

 A "person of interest" in an execution-style killing is on the loose – on foot and possibly still in Garden Grove, authorities say.

On Aug. 9, Garden Grove police officers responded to an address in the city of Garden Grove regarding a possible assault. 

 A "person of interest" in an execution-style killing is on the loose – on foot and possibly still in Garden Grove, authorities say.

On Aug. 9, Garden Grove police officers responded to an address in the city of Garden Grove regarding a possible assault. 

Officers checked the residence and found a dead male inside the residence. The man was identified as William Nauman. Based on physical evidence discovered at the scene, it was determined William Nauman was a victim of a murder.

The murder appears to detectives as if the victim was executed.  The victim was shot numerous times and found in his own residence.  Detectives are withholding details while the investigation continues.

The person of interest, Andrew Carl Harvey III, was seen leaving the residence shortly after the crime and is known to frequent Orange County and Long Beach areas.  The weapon is believed to be a handgun and has not been recovered.  Harvey is believed to be traveling on foot and does not have a vehicle. 

The person of interest may be armed and dangerous and the Garden Grove Police Department is asking the public for assistance in finding him.
